Kiev Fashion Week has concluded demonstrating some really unique designs and lots of sequins, knitwear, and prints. The Ukrainian capital that has been regarded as best place for shopping in Europe by Vogue keeps propelling forward in terms of fashion and street style with eight Ukrainian designers set to participate in International Fashion Showcase in London between February 19th and 23rd.

If you want to get a taste of what Fall 2016 is going to be like and discover some cool new designers and brands, here are the 13 must-see looks from the Mercedez-Benz fashion week that took place on February 4-8.

Andreeva Fall 2016

Andreeva

Andreeva is a brand of designer Olga Andreeva. Her Fall 2016 collection is full of sporty mesh and puffy sleeves as well as bright patterns, but this beige on black mesh midi dress on a zipper looks like a total darling hybrid between a sports suit and a classic midi dress.

Omelya Fall 2016

Omelya

Designer Kostya Omelya is brains and hands behind his own brand. His Fall 2016 collection is full of unusual but wearable pieces kept in black, white, and royal blue color theme. It was hard to choose the looks but these two are genuinely smashing.

The blue sweatshirt echoes the black shirt underneath that lends the look its fun element – the hand drawings and bow tie. And the black leather skirt with a wide belt brings a bit of rock ‘n’ roll into the sporty-nerdy mix. The casual velvet LBD with a wide leather half belt is a stylish alternative to shirt dress that it has a lot in common with.

Marianna Senchina Fall 2016

Marianna Senchina

Marianna Senchina’s collection was playful and quite unusual. But this red dress stole the show and is a perfect Valentine’s Day outfit. Simply gorgeous!

Vahan Khachatryan Fall 2016

Kahan Khachatryan

Designer Kahan Khachatryan has created a visual art-inspired collection, so it was full of painting-like capes and dresses that I wouldn’t call unwearable but definitely not casual. While this ensemble has the best of both worlds and would make any office worker stand out.

Lalo Fall 2016

Lalo

Lalo rolled out a line full of oversize sweaters over fancy dresses as well as knitted coats and dresses. This is just one of the ensembles that will make your inner boho queen sing with delight.

V by Gres Fall 2016

V by Gres

V by Gres went with a practical approach to their Fall 2016 collection. There were lots of skirts and knitted shirts, coats and warm pant suits, but this iridescent grey ensemble with black piping is a great middle ground between a trench and a dress.

Anouki Fall 2016

Anouki

Designer Anouki Areshidze has presented her Fall 2016 collection full of blue, peach, black, and grey in all of its unusual glory. The very first look though attracted my attention with its navy sparkly skirt and a straight-jacket-like striped shirt or is it a dress?

Theo Fall 2016

Theo

Theo is a brand of a popular Ukrainian stylist Theo Dukan. His collection was one of the more unusual ones with this beautiful dove grey dress with a priest collar that extends and hangs at the front making for a real fashion magazine photoshoot material.

BEKh Fall 2016

BEKh

BEKh Atelier is a brand of Masha BEKh who specializes in feminine designs. Her Fall 2016 collection encompasses lots of different styles from various cultures. She used lots of denim and satin for it. As you can see in the jacket above she used lots of appliques in various ensembles but in this one the skirt deserves all the attention.

Jealousy Fall 2016

Jealousy

Jealousy is another emerging Ukraine brand. Using bright colors and retro colors is in brand’s style, which is explains this flamingo and swan printed dress.

Ksenia Schnaider Fall 2016

Ksenia Schnaider

Ksenia Schnaider’s Fall 2016 collection is all about simplicity. I like this thin trench coat that can be worn as a dress or light winter coat.

Flow Fall 2016

Flow

This Ukrainian-Belgian womenswear brand showcased an extensive collection in camel brown, blue, and beige. The rhombus-patterned coat is just one of the collection’s many gems.
