'A New Mix' From H&M

H&M’s collaboration collection with fashion designer Maison Martin Margiela may be launching on November, 15th but the brand keeps bringing up new ideas and clothes to play with and create more new looks. This time H&M offers some printed pieces to mix this Fall.

A tunic and printed leggings make for a nice casual outfit and allow playing with the prints. The brand also offers printed shirts and suits to wear together. Florals are a big trend this season so florals with florals are more than appropriate and easy to pull off.

There are also some solid colors in peplum tops, jeans and sweaters that you can use to balance out your prints with. How to mix different prints? Well, you can start with easy patterns like stripes and dots and then try toss in some florals or plaids.

When choosing which prints to mix make sure they don’t clash too much if you aren’t aiming at over-the-top look. Choose one dominating print and one smaller subtler print to make them look good together. Try adding a third print if these two aren’t too bright and flashy.
