Celebrity Guests at David Bowie Is Exhibition Opening
A selected circle of David Bowie fans got together at the Victoria and Albert Museum the previous night at the opening of highly-anticipated retrospective. A-list celebrities from distinct spheres like fashion, cinematography and art stepped on the Ziggy Stardust carpet prior to entering the museum’s hall where they could take a drink of Champagne and afterwards approach the exhibition, which became one of the most successful projects in Victoria and Albert museum’s history.
Tilda Swinton, Tracey Emin, Haider Ackermann and Bill Nighy were among the others who filled the rooms with the unique sounds from Bowie’s back catalog. Representatives of the UK fashion elite including Christopher Kane, Erdem Moralioglu and Harold Tillman (former British Fashion Council chairman) were also spotted at the event.
In addition to the fashion and music elite, the newbies from cinematography like Douglas Booth, Matt Smith and Kaya Scodelario also attended this significant event. Gathering the city’s most stylish persons at the Victoria and Albert Museum, Bowie’s exhibition proved itself a key event of the season.

Tilda Swinton opted for the wide-leg tweed trousers with checked pattern, a printed shirt and a blazer, all by Haider Ackermann.
Laure Bailey combined Gucci dress in light blue with floral print from Spring Summer 2013 collection with an ivory cardigan, white stiletto heels and a dusky pink clutch.
Rosario Dawson put together her outfit using a coat with checked pattern, tight fitting jeans, patent court shoes and a light grey scarf.
Caroline Sieber opted for a feather-embellished mini dress in cobalt blue from Christopher Kane’s Fall Winter 2013-2014 collection.
Edie Campbell looked elegant in the Gucci ensemble, which consisted of the wide-leg trousers and a top with a honecomb pattern on the breast area, all in black color.
Gabriella Wilde layered the tunic dress with snakeskin pattern by Gucci with black leather jacket. She styled the look with peep-toe sandals.
Jade Parfitt stepped on the red carpet wearing the maxi dress with feather print, which she coupled with a denim jacket and silver sandals.
Kaya Scodelario opted for a bold pink dress with a bell silhouette and frill neckline, which she accessorized with strappy sandals, all by Gucci.
Pam Hogg looked extravagant in a leather jacket with metallic effect, which she paired with leather leggings and ankle boots.
Pixie Geldolf chose to wear a tunic dress in bold pink by Gucci, which she styled with a candy pink clutch and stylish patent leather brogues.
Tracey Emin went for a total black outfit, which included a biker leather jacket and skinny jeans. She complemented the outfit with a tote bag and calf-length boots.
