Elie Saab Spring Summer 2013
The talented Lebanese designer Elie Saab introduced some edgy silhouettes in his latest spring summer 2013 collection, which he presented at his fashion show called “Heiress” during the Paris Fashion Week 2013. Besides the strict designs, Elie features some graphic prints and floral patterns in this collection.
As for the color palette, this time Saab decided to opt for the trendy cobalt, chic turquoise and elegant fuchsia along with the classic white, red and black palette. The collection also includes garments with the basque and 90’s-inspired geometric prints.
Elie Saab didn’t want to limit himself only to the heiress-inspired garments in this spring summer 2013 collection. He also wanted to present the clothes for “an artist, photographer and a philanthropist”.
Designer demonstrated his vision of the creative woman’s wear. For instance, it is the strict pantsuit with the lace with the mannish feel or the pencil skirt with feminine blouse.
This time the emperor of red carpet and evening apparel opted for the minimalistic designs with the monochromatic shirt and pants sets, sophisticated dresses and elegant shorts and trousers suits. But Elie Saab wouldn’t be Elie Saab without his stunning evening dresses that appeared at the end of the show. As usual the designer managed to create the beautiful garments with the soft and feminine feel.
Seems like Elie Saab decided to step outside the evening gowns and move toward the everyday wear, which he endows with the touch of chic and glamour. The geometric prints along with the slim silhouettes are the perfect option for the evening wear. In the result we get quite weary, but at the same time elegant and classy collection.
