Lana Del Rey Poses For H&M Fall 2012 Ad Campaign

Lana Del Rey has posed for H&M Fall 2012 campaign. Lensed by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin the campaign looks more like a lookbook showcasing the brand’s collection pieces for the cold season well. The collection features warm and cozy sweaters, floral prints and tweed pieces.

Earlier this year the rumors of the singer-brand collaboration sparked a wave of speculation of what that would be like. Well, “The mood is very L.A. noir,” says H&M’s creative director, Donald Schneider. The Fall/Winter 2012 collection ad campaign features Lana with bouffant-styled hair and retro makeup.

The theme of the campaign is a modern and feminine woman with a soft attitude. Curves and waist are important in autumn’s silhouette with a focus on knitwear and tweed, the colours include powder tones and accessories in wine red,

said H&M’s PR Manager, Chloe Bowers.

There will also be a short film with Lana Del Rey performing cover of Bobby Vinton’s Blue Velvet as a part of H&M Fall 2012 ad campaign. I’m not a fan of singer or brand but those floral printed skinny pants and wine red heels are looking great. What do you think?
