Skirts are one of the main Spring staples and a huge trend this year. Especially tube skirts and their mini versions. But since these aren’t the only styles we saw on Spring 2016 runways chances you’re safe with these three different options that we’re already seeing seeping to the market.
3 Skirt Styles For Spring 2016
L to R: Courrèges, A.W. Anderson, Madewell
Trapeze Skirt
A trapeze skirt is a versatile wardrobe piece. It can be worn with an embellished top for a night out or a cropped tee and trainers. It all depends on your tastes. Mini leather skirts are quite popular this year so a button front trapeze skirt in leather finish would pretty much take you to the fashion olymp.

Complex Assymetric Skirt
Assymetry has grown far more complex in casual clothing. It’s now composed of layer upon layers of complicated assymetric puzzle pieces that together make a skirt. Side slits, inserts, and additional intricate details can be incorporated in one skirt but you can also find simpler assymetrical designs or embellished fancy ones.
L to R: Roland Mouret, Balmain, Zimmermann
Flounce Skirt
Flounce skirt is another big trend this year as the designers influenced heavily by Spanish style added ruffles and assymterical lines to both skirts and dresses as well as the tops.
Which style is more appealing to you?
