Fall Winter 2012 Trend- Florals
For the fall winter 2012-2013 seasons, designers offer us to shift from the traditional summer bloom pattern to its winter variation. The leading fashion houses starting from Dolce & Gabbanna to Balmain presented the new approach to florals: tapestry, paisley-inspired etc.
This time the patterns are less feminine comparing to those summer ones, which was reached by using the dark, chic and edgy appeal.
Dolce & Gabbanna became the pioneers of this trend. By finding the main source of inspiration in the traditional Sicilian dresses, the designers introduced the needlepoint flower patterns on black and white.

Rag & Bone made the tapestry the main accent of the collection by giving it an urban feel. Complemented by the fine leather and the fur trimmings that are the hottest women’s trends 2012-2013 as well, the coats with the floral patterns will become the statement piece in your fall winter wardrobe.
