Spring 2015 Trend: High Neckline

Whenever it gets warmer outside, we tend to get rid of the multiple layers that we covered ourselves with and dress up as light as possible. As temperatures are growing, the length of our skirts is decreasing by every inch. We try to compensate for the long winter and expose as much of our precious body to the sun as one could do. The logic is quite understandable and there is nothing to be surprised with. However, the high-end designers suggest that you move in an opposite direction now. Not that you should no longer rock mini skirts and dresses – in fact, there is nothing said about it at all. What you have to focus on though is the top part of your outfit. If you want to be on trend this spring, then you better forget about V-necklines and low decollete. Instead, try on the tight neckline and you will be amazed at how alluring and saucy such an outfit can look.

Most Stunning Ways To Sport Tight Neckline

Prada goes for a sleeveless fit yet a turtleneck bodice – the composition that always creates a winning impression. This adorable frock in beige features a skimming silhouette, midi cut and astonishing design. I am totally in love with the exquisitely embroidered fabric with faded florals in orange and white as well as the bright yellow panel along the neckline. The ripped up trim of the dress creates a funky and edgy touch which contrasts with the overall concept of this piece.

Rochas

Rochas offered a magnificent and incredibly mysterious gown in black. The multi-layered design of the number perfectly goes with the flare fit and delicate organza. The sheer panel along the neckline culminates with a very tight neckline; despite this fact the dress looks very alluring and hot. I like how the neckline matches the inner skirt in embroidered tulle.

Valentino

Valentino suggests to complement the super short cut of the outfit with a tightened up top. This beautiful collared shirt dress features one of the most enchanting color combinations ever. Vine red is paired with crystal white and enigmatic black – which all together play off in a striking way. I love the light and flare silhouette of the dress as well as the way it matches the elegant and trendy blazer. This outfit is meant to make any lady more luxurious and exquisite.

Louis Vuitton
Louis Vuitton
Louis Vuitton was more moderate in terms of colors and prints; yet the look by the French fashion house also deserves a lot of appraisal. This semi-sheer mini frock in saucy gray will blow your mind – this I have no doubt about. The marvelous patterns along the dress are styled in an asymmetrical way which gives another credit to the frock. Long sleeves and tight neckline are complemented with a cool choker in black.

Hermes

In case you are a fan of ecru shades, then you will definitely like this look. Hermes presented a super sophisticated and complicated outfit which will help you stay in the limelight. It might seem that this dress does not represent anything outstanding or unique, but this would be an awful mistake. Just a single glance at the number will draw so much attention to you, that you will have hard time trying to get rid of it. For one thing, it is difficult to comprehend the design of this ensemble – is it a dress with a scarf wrapped around the shoulders or the scarf is nothing more than an extension of the frock? Besides, the beautiful cream color will add a delicate and precious zest to your look.

Dolce & Gabbana
Dolce & Gabbana
Dolce & Gabbana designed a magnificent and extremely hot outfit to rock in Spring 2015. This pair of high waist pumped up shorts in black features an extremely short cut (even shorter than it is supposed to be!) and some gorgeous adornment. The piece is paired with a crop blazer that is styled in the same fabric. The design of the latter is also worth being mentioned, as the coat is encrusted with a myriad of glowing and sparkling gemstones in various shades. To complete this hot and saucy look, the designers added a plain collared and all-buttoned shirt in white – as if trying to compensate the rather bold bottom.

Alexander McQueen
Alexander McQueen
Alexander McQueen opted for a somewhat futuristic concept and created a breath-taking dress in monochrome. Black and white panels are combined in this frock in a magnificent way, making one’s mouth water. The mixture of fabrics along with the short cut, loose silhouette and three-quarter sleeves draws a very beautiful image.

Carven
Carven
Carven went for refreshing shades and designed a stunning piece in orange and cream. This midi dress with a high neckline and long sleeves is a perfect alternative for boring and cliche office dresses. If you have an intention to stand out from the crowd this spring, but would still like to stick to the formalities, this is an excellent chance for you to show off your individuality and high fashion style.

Christian Dior

Finally, here is a super sophisticated and exquisite piece from Christian Dior. This adorable evening gown in elegant black would look quite regular though, if it wasn’t for the white lace adornment on the neckline. The V-shaped outline never looked so pretty and appealing as in this striking dress.

These were the most awesome outfits featuring a tight neckline. Which one would you add to your Spring 2015 collection?

I explore the world through the prism of fashion. Fashion is my everything: my universe, my air, my alter ego. I do my best to suit society, but when society does not bother to accept my way - I see no point in climbing up the mountain. It is the same with fashion: if they do not get what you wear, it is not your clothes that are to be trashed.
