Gucci Spring Summer 2013
Gucci is a legendary fashion house, which knows everything about fashion. For the spring summer 2013 season, Gucci designer made the splash during the Milan Fashion Week with the bold pink collection, which consists of the polished trouser suits, skirts and dresses with the fluted sleeves.
The collection also features the strict double-breasted jackets, shift with the loose fit, sophisticated flared trousers etc.
Francesca Burns of Vogue commented after the show:
We saw those jewel colours in London, at Burberry, and now we’re seeing the trend live on in Milan.”
But unlike Burberry, Gucci didn’t limit itself with the pink color only and also presented the apparel in hues like azure, cobalt, turquoise and yellow. As for the silhouettes, they were mostly influenced by the sixties. Designer also made an accent on the necklines by introducing the roll and high necks.
From the statement hues to the luxurious fabrics we get the dose of the snakeskin in blue and grey colors that stand out in the abundance of canary brights.
But even the plain snakeskin garments are complemented with the canary brights in the form of huge gems and beads in neon hues encrusted necklines. So, according to Gucci you just cannot get away without the neon hues this season.
