Sass & Bide Spring Summer 2013 RTW
Sass & Bide fashion brand, which is known for its tribal aesthetics, demonstrated its spring summer 2013 ready-to-wear collection during the London Fashion Week. However, this time we won’t see the signature ferocity vibe in the garments, but rather the origami folds and flowers, which will probably surprise brand’s devotees.
Sarah-Jane Clarke and Heidi Middleton utilized the blend of soft materials and floral patterns in their spring summer 2013 collection, which they intensively mixed with Sass & Bide signature elements like heavily embellishment and textures mixing.
Sass & Bide is famous for using the stunning embellishments and this collection demonstrated it one more time. It includes the elaborately designed and embellished dresses that won’t leave any lady indifferent, it was primarily the glittering silver sparkles on black color. Designers managed to find the ideal balance between the tribal without overdoing and embellishments that add just a bit of sparkle.
I fell in love with this spring summer 2013 collection by Sass & Bide because of the few reasons: first of all, it is quite restrained owing to the plain lines and strict color gamma, but at the same time chic and glamorous owing to the exquisite embellishments, original textures and cut. Besides, it has a futuristic feel, what makes it look even more unique.
This collection is a mix of both masculine and feminine elements along with edgy and clean-cut shapes. Inspired by the trip to Peru and Beunos Aires, this collection adapted the feel of traditional modernists.
